You will need
Trim the A6 Textured White Card so it is 85mm wide and 148mm long. Print using the template, changing the text to suit your invitation. The names are printed using Saginaw, a free font available here. Cut the Red Rose Vellum into two pieces 142mm x 202mm, slightly smaller than the A5 Textured White Card. Attach one of the pieces to the A5 White Card with a small strip of adhesive in the centre of the vellum only. You will have a narrow white border round the edge. Stick the Printed White card to the centre of the invitation using Double Sided Tape or the Adhesive Tape Runner. Take the second piece of Red Rose Vellum and tear a strip about 3cm wide. You will find the vellum will naturally tear in a roughly straight line. You will get enough strips for several invitations from this piece. Place the strip of vellum across the invitation as shown. Using the craft knife cut small slits through the vellum and card layers to push the white round brads through, opening the legs at the back. Finally cut a small slit to push the legs of the cake brad through. The brads will hold the band on without the need for adhesive. If you want to hide the metal brad legs on the back of the card buy a pack of small round white stickers from any stationers and use these to cover the metal parts that show on the reverse.
