This tent-fold wedding invitation looks super sophisticated but is really easy to make. You will need:
Print "Wedding Invitation" onto the card blank using the template provided (you will need to set the printer paper size to 144mm wide x 288 tall) If you have a paper cutter: Cut the lace paper into pieces 85mm x 144mm (you will get 4 pieces per A4 sheet). Run adhesive all round the edges using the tape pen and attach to the card. If you don't have a paper cutter: Cut the A4 sheet of lace paper into 4. Draw a line in pencil 85mm from the bottom of the card to create a rectangle where the paper will go. Run adhesive all round the edges of the card inside this rectangle and attach a piece of the lace paper. Using sharp scissors and holding the card upside down, trim the paper so the edges are exactly against the card. Draw a line in pencil on the inside of the card where the ribbon will go and run a line of adhesive along it. Attach the ribbon so that you have approx 20cm extra to the left and about 14cm to the right. Turn the card over and run a line of adhesive across the card where the decorative paper starts. Press the ribbon down at the sides and tie a knot bow (simple double knot) approx 4cm from the left side. Run your finger across all the ribbon to ensure it is firmly attached and adjust the knot so it lies neatly - you may want to add a glue got behind the bow to keep it in place. Trim the ends of the bow with sharp scissors. Print your insert and attach inside the card. |
