This stylish DL Heart Wallet Style card with perforated RSVP uses contrasting colours to create a simple but stunning card.
You will need:
Open up your card and apply adhesive tape onto the left hand side of the Olive card, around the heart cut out. Now position the cream card over the glued area, making sure that the card lines up with the bottom edge and left hand corner. Turn the card back over and, with the card closed, take a ruler and line it up with the Olive diagonal edge. Move your ruler up towards the corner (keeping it parallel) until you are happy with the amount of cream card showing. We have used an 8mm gap on our card. Draw a faint pencil line and use either scissors or a guillotine to cut off the excess. Cut a piece of ribbon 30cm long and thread the ribbon buckle into the middle. Apply adhesive onto the card where the ribbon will go, approximately 2 cm from the left hand side. Gently move the buckle up or down to ensure it is level with the cut out heart. Turn the card over and lay the 2 ends of ribbon over each other. Cut on an angle to neaten the edges and glue into position. Attach a wording peel off in silver underneath the cut out heart. Print your inserts onto the Pearlescent paper and add to the inside of the card using an adhesive tape pen. The RSVP inserts are printed onto the same 200mm x 90mm size paper - 2 per page and trim off the extra 20mm from the middle. |
