Ivory and Black dual fold wedding invitation

This invitation is made from an A4 sheet of card which has been trimmed, foil printed and creased. You will need:
Printing the text on the front of the card: In the example shown, "Wedding Invitation" has been foil printed in black. This is available from us as a bespoke foil printing option. If you have an inkjet printer which is able to print onto your choice of card, you could print this yourself. Generally, the white and cream textured card prints easily while some printers have problems with pearlescent card. Tapestry card is 300gsm and is not really suitable for inkjet printing. Cut and crease the card For this step you will need a paper trimmer and card creaser. We can also do this for you, if you wish - contact customer services for a quote. Trim the A4 card to measure 210mm x 250mm. Create 2 creases 75mm from each end and fold towards the centre of the card. The central panel should measure 210mm x 100mm. Assemble the card Attach the insert inside the card using the adhesive tape pen. Run a line of adhesive inside the top flap just next to the crease and attach the ribbon leaving enough at each end to tie your bow. Bring the ends of the ribbon to the front and tie in a neat bow (tip: tie a double knot first and then make your bow - it's easier to get a knot in the right place before tying the bow) Trim the ends to neaten. Place a hook and loop fastening under the top flap to hold the card closed. |
