This is a very simple invitation style which uses a pearlescent card base with the bride and groom's names foiled in gold and a royal blue ribbon to finish. The ribbon is either tied in a knot or threaded with a rhinestone buckle.

You will need:

• Ivory pearlescent card cut to 144mm x 144mm
• Ivory pearlescent stardream insert for square gatefold cards (138mm x 138mm)
• 10mm royal blue satin ribbon
• Small round rhinestone ribbon buckle (optional)
• The Wedding Crafter's foiled inert printing service
• Adhesive tape pen
• Glue dots

To assemble your invitations:

Cut a length of ribbon approx 20cm long.

If using a buckle, thread the buckle onto the centre of the ribbon, attach a glue dot to the back and fix in the centre of the insert.

If you are not using a buckle, tie a knot in the centre of the ribbon length and use a glue dot to fix the knot in the centre of the insert.

Take the ends of the ribbon behind the insert and secure using the adhesive tape pen. Use the tape pen to attach the insert to the card.
