Beautiful personalised wedding guest book

With just a little effort, you can transform a plain wedding guest book. Here we have used ribbon, pearls and flowers to create a classical wedding look, finished with a personalised printed panel.
You will need:
Remove the ribbon which comes with the guest book and replace with the double sided satin ribbon. Tie in a neat bow. Take the bead string and thread it through the bow. Tighten the bow sufficiently to hold the bead string in place. Trim the ends of the ribbon and the bead string to the required length (use sharp scissors to ensure you get a neat edge on the ribbon). Take the paper flowers and twist the stems to form a bunch, turning the flower heads towards you so that the back is fairly flat and will lie neatly on the guest book. Trim the stems to around 2cm in length. Place a small amount of PVA glue (or a couple of glue dots) onto the back of the bunch and tuck under the bow so that the stems are hidden. Print your personal wording onto a piece of white hammer textured card. We used Vivaldi font in a 50% grey colour. Trim carefully around the text using a paper trimmer, craft knife or scissors. Glue onto a slightly larger piece of silver card and trim so that you have a neat margin around the text. Glue the text panel onto the guest book with PVA glue (note that it's best to use glue - double sided tape doesn't always stick well to textured papers. |
